Activity Grants

Apply for £200 - £1,000 funding to run a community event or activity on or around the Racecourse Estate in Northolt!

Visions for Northolt has launched the Floating Community Room Programme to bring together local people and activate existing indoor and outdoor community spaces across the Racecourse Estate.

A total of £12,000 is available for residents, community groups and voluntary organisations to run an event that will form part of the Floating Community Room Programme. This will include a range of different activities that activate different venues across the estate and serve the local community.

Alongside these Activity Grants, we have worked with existing community spaces on and around the estate to compile a map of potential venues and costs. We have also launched Venue Grants for operators to enhance their venues and make these more accessible.

What is this funding for?

This funding will fund community activities across the Racecourse Estate.

Activities must be free to attend and could include:

- Cultural events (e.g. performances, music)

- Craft activities (e.g. knitting clubs, book groups)

- Community barbecues or picnics
‍
- Sports events

- Learning and training sessions
‍
- Litter picks
‍
- Planting days

‍Activities will be hosted in a Floating Community Room on or around the Racecourse Estate:

- Applicants should set out their venue requirements in the application form.

- We will work with successful applicants to match their activities with a venue. If applicants already have a venue in mind, they should specify this on their application and speak to the venue operator.
